La palude può creare strani sodalizi proprio come quello che Everett finisce per intrecciare con il predatore volante. Sarà lui a rifornirlo di vodka, a tenergli compagnia ecc., in cambio della sua protezione da Hooke. Non ci vuole un genio per capire che ben presto questi tre – Vern, Everett e Hooke – diventeranno i protagonisti di un conflitto pieno di fuoco e fiamme che sfocerà nella più classica resa dei conti. Come andrà a finire? Con la definitiva estinzione dei draghi? Oppure i giorni di gloria di Vern sono tornati?
Eoin Colfer, autore di una serie di successo internazionale come quella di “Artemis Fowl”, ci regala un romanzo fantastico per adulti molto diverso dal solito: vodka, parolacce, alligatori, contrabbandieri, droni, e chi più ne ha più ne metta.

Ho scoperto solo recentemente dell'uscita in italiano di Frank-ly in Love, e poiché mi incuriosiva molto sin dalla sua uscita in lingua non posso che esserne felice! 🥰
